     Hit the Woah! - Training New Trainers Course

    From Woah! we open a training course for new trainers. The course is especially aimed at members of university associations in Barcelona, ​​but is open to everyone.
    Within the course, participants have the opportunity to further develop their skills as a trainer. In line with the European Training Strategy, the following competencies are considered essential when working as a non-formal education trainer in Europe:

    • Understand and facilitate individual and group learning processes
    • Design educational programs
    • Directing one's own learning (Learning to Learn)
    • Cooperate successfully as a team
    • Communicate meaningfully with others
    • Intercultural competence
    • Be civically engaged
    Participants enter the course from different levels of prior experience and carry a portfolio of skills; consequently, their learning needs are different. The educational approach implemented in the course aims to identify and pursue these different learning needs. At the heart of this process is the participant's ability to direct their own learning. The peer group as a source of learning and the trainers as facilitators of these learning processes are essential pillars of this approach.

    To register, fill out the form by June 12 and you will receive a response from the organizers soon. Participants will be chosen based on the answers on the form.

    Des de Woah! obrim un curs de formació per a noves formadores. El curs va especialment dirigit a membres d'associacions universitàries de Barcelona, però és obert a tothom.

    Dins del curs , els participants tenen l'oportunitat de desenvolupar encara més les seves competències com a formador. D'acord amb l'Estratègia Europea de Formació,  Es consideren essencials les competències següents quan es treballa com a formador d'educació no formal dins d'Europa:

    • Comprendre i facilitar els processos d'aprenentatge individual i grupal
    • Dissenyar programes educatius
    • Dirigir el propi aprenentatge (Learning to Learn)
    • Cooperar amb èxit en equip
    • Comunicar-se de manera significativa amb els altres
    • Competència intercultural
    • Estar compromès cívicament
    Els participants entren al curs de des de diferents nivells d'experiència prèvia i porten una cartera de competències; en conseqüència, les seves necessitats d'aprenentatge són diferents. L'enfocament educatiu implementat al curs pretén permetre identificar i perseguir aquestes diferents necessitats d'aprenentatge. El nucli d'aquest procés és la competència del participant per dirigir el seu propi aprenentatge. El grup com a font d'aprenentatge entre iguals i els formadors com a facilitadors d'aquests processos d'aprenentatge són pilars essencials d'aquest enfocament.
